Mark VandenBrink, Chief Technology Officer, Samsung Telecommunications America
Mark VandenBrink is Chief Technology Officer of Samsung Telecommunications America. In this role, VandenBrink focuses on the design and implementation of next-generation software and wireless technologies.
Prior to joining Samsung, Mark worked with Motorola as a Fellow and Chief Architect of Systems Software within the company’s Mobile Devices business. Prior to his time at Motorola, Mark worked on the mobile Java platform for IBM, designing software for the company’s Pervasive Computing Division. Mark holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Western Kentucky University and a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Limvirak Chea, InMobi, VP, Android Advertising
Limvirak joined InMobi in May of 2010 and leads business development for Europe and the Middle East. Prior to InMobi, he spent four years at Google where he lead Strategic Partnerships focusing on mobile and distribution and then moved onto Google’s New Business Development team helping the Product and Engineering teams bring new products to market through early-stage, exploratory deals and engaging with the tech community. Limvirak has also led the Android Market in Europe and prior to Android, he worked on Open Social, Google’s social API. Prior to Google, he defined and implemented the voice over IP strategy for AOL in Paris, and worked as a senior consultant in Telecom & Media at Bossard Consultants; now Cap Gemini Consulting Services. Limvirak graduated from the Ecole Centrale Paris with a Diplôme d’Ingénieur, and holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
InMobi is a global ad network for mobile devices. We offer Android developers a simple and easy way to monetize their applications with advertising. InMobi serves over 20.3 Billion impressions to over 185 Million consumers monthly and has sales teams in regions including: North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. We currently have a special program in place for application developers, called our World Developer Fund. New developer who registers with InMobi will receive payouts for 100-percent of the ad revenue generated. Typically ad networks split the ad revenue between the developer and network. Anne-Louise Kardas, Strategic Business Development Manager, Sprint
Anne-Louise has been working with Sprint for the past 8 years, in various roles in business sales and most recently business development. She represents the “eyes and ears” of Sprint’s Product and Technology organizations in Silicon Valley to identify potential partnership opportunities that can enhance Sprint services. She works closely with the VC community, startups and developer groups in the Bay Area. Prior to Sprint, she worked for 5 years at Nortel Networks in their Enterprise and Professional Mobile Radio division. Anne-Louise graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris and Pantheon-Assas University in Paris and spent a year in Mannheim University, Germany.

Brian Kennish, Chrome Team, Google
Brian Kennish was the first support engineer at Google back when the AdWords API was launched. Since then, he’s helped launch four more Google developer products — gadget ads, the Analytics API, Wave, and Chrome Extensions. Brian is currently a developer advocate for Google Chrome.
Leila Modarres, VP of Marketing, Device AnyWhere
Leila leads the marketing team and is responsible for developing and articulating the value of DeviceAnywhere’s solutions.
Prior to DeviceAnywhere, Leila held management roles at several high growth technology companies – from startups to multinational corporations. Most recently Leila was Senior Manager of Strategic Partner Marketing at Virtual Iron a provider of server virtualization solutions, where she focused on establishing revenue generating partner marketing programs with strategic partners including Intel, IBM, HP, AMD and others. Prior to Virtual Iron, Leila was Manager of Marketing at PanGo, an RFID technology startup acquired by Innerwireless. Leila spent six years in the public relations arena at Porter Novelli where she supported various clients including EMC, Agilent Technologies, AMD, Nuance Communications and others.
Leila began her career as an editorial assistant at the Harvard Business Review. She holds a BS in Communications from the Boston University.
Patrick Mork, CMO, GetJar
Patrick joined GetJar in 2008 as VP marketing and member of the executive team. His primary role at GetJar is to develop the company’s overall marketing, branding, content and communications strategy.
Patrick has been in the mobile content space since 2004 first at mobile games publisher I-play then subsequently at glu mobile. Prior to joining GetJar, Patrick was Marketing Director Europe at glu where he built up the company’s marketing team and was a key part of the European management team that helped take the company public on the NASDAQ in March 2007. With 15 years of marketing experience at leading companies such as PepsiCo and Diamondcluster, Patrick has worked in large multinationals and venture-backed start-ups in marketing, sales and general management.
Patrick holds on MBA from INSEAD and a BS from Georgetown University.

Ryan Wick, Sprint Application Developer Program
Ryan Wick has over 10-years experience designing, developing, testing and deploying applications for smart phones, handsets and mobile operating systems. He currently specializes in the Android operating system, but also has extensive experience with JavaME and Blackberry platforms. In his current role supporting the Sprint Application Developer program, he interfaces with the developer community, works with Handset manufacturers, and tracks trends and developments in the Mobile OS space. Most recently Ryan is the author of Sprint’s Android developer guides covering unique features of 4G devices such as the HTC EVO and the Samsung Epic.

Prior to Flurry Simon was President and CEO of Vernier Networks, a network security company; President and CEO of Volera (acquired by Novell), the leading content and video distribution company; VP and GM at Novell; and Founder, President and CEO of JustOn (Acquired by Novell), the leading Internet file-sharing service.

Michael Aday, BeyondSoft Consulting Inc
Michael Aday has a long history in the mobile space starting in 1998 with his work on the deployment of Exchange infrastructures supporting the first Microsoft Activesync devices for mobile email. Having seen early the transformative effects of mobile email and applications on a smartphone, he was an immediate convert. Later in his Microsoft career he was responsible for market/competitive intelligence on the mobile platforms as well as helping to develop the intellectual property strategy for mobile devices. Michael left Microsoft in 2010 and is currently Senior Director for Business Development for Beyondsoft. In this role he is part of the team helping the company develop a broad set of services and capabilities around the mobile space.

Eric Chan, MobileSlate
Eric Chan is an aspiring Renaissance Man and 100% Mobile Evangelist. I currently advise and consult companies in the mobile space, around Product Strategy (defining mobile products and services) and Business Development (helping companies with International expansion from the US to Europe and Asia) and for startups, preparing them for formal venture capital investment.
Raj Singh, Entrepreneur In Resident
Raj Singh is a mobile industry veteran having worked in all aspects of mobile over the past 11 years. Currently, Raj is the Co-Founder of YumYum Labs developing applications in mobile health. Most recently, Raj was the Vice President of Business Development for Skyfire, a mobile browser that supports full Flash rendering. Previously, Raj co-founded venture-funded companies Veeker and ToneThis and has also worked in product management, engineering, strategy and consulting roles for Kodak Mobile, Dell Mobile, Cellmania, MobiTV, PlayPhone, Tellme, Samsung, Hungama Mobile and Antenna Software. Raj is a regular mobile advisor, writer and speaker including formal and guest blogging for GotoMobile, O’reilly Emerging Telephony and Venturebeat.
Ojas Rege, VP of Product, MobileIron
Ojas joined MobileIron in 2008 to lead product development. Before MobileIron, he was Vice President of Global Mobile Products at Yahoo!, responsible for Yahoo’s mobile search, email, messaging, and content services. The team delivered SMS, mobile web, and client applications for phones, and built extensive platforms to deal with the daunting global fragmentation of mobile technology. Ojas started in mobile in 2000 as Vice President of Product Marketing at AvantGo, one of the first software developers for Palm and PocketPC handhelds. AvantGo was purchased by Sybase iAnywhere Solutions in 2003. Before AvantGo, Ojas managed the online video gaming team at Acclaim Entertainment, spent several years with Boston Consulting Group, and started his career in 1988 as VAX/VMS product line manager at Oracle. Ojas is also a Board Member for Pact, a non-profit in Oakland California that provides adoption services for children of color and their parents. Ojas has a BS/MS in Computer Engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Stanford. He has spoken on numerous panels.
Dhana Pawar
Ms Pawar contributes a wealth of experience in to the wireless industry. She has worked extensively with a list of leading carriers like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and brands like P&G, Disney, NBC & Toyota. Ms Pawar is a regular speaker at tech events, and has been quoted on CNN, ABCnews, All Things Digital along with other leading publications. Ms Pawar is also the Managing Director for the Silicon Valley of Girls in Tech, and sits on the advisory board of startups like MobiQpons & Zazum.
Vidya Ravella, Vice President ofMarketing doubleTwist
Vidya is responsible for all marketing, communications and strategic partnerships, including relationships with carriers and 3rd party app stores. Prior to doubleTwist, she ran marketing at Servo, a Khosla Ventures-backed mobile start-up where she defined the brand and launched user trials and co-marketing with global carriers such as China Mobile and Singtel/Optus. She also held various roles at Walt Disney Company working in marketing, business development and account management. She handled the marketing launch for Disney’s mobile offering and was the key contact for the corporate alliances with HP, Visa, Siemens, Kodak and OfficeMax. Prior to Disney, Vidya was an Assistant Vice President at JPMorganChase. Vidya holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics and International Relations from Brown University.
Stoyan Kenderov Head of Mobile Alliances, Intuit
Over 6 million small businesses and 20 million consumers in America rely on Intuit’s software for managing their finances, acquiring new customers, taking payments, tracking sales and expenses, and paying employees. Roughly a 1/5 of the nation’s GDP passes through Intuit’s software in one form or another. Recently Intuit was voted the #1 most trusted software brand by small business owners in America. As more and more users continue upgrading to smart phones, the expectation is on Intuit to deliver mobile applications that extend its cloud based and desktop based software to the mobile phones. Stoyan is in charge of Intuit’s mobile business and relationships with the mobile industry. He has been an active contributor to the wireless industry since 1999. Stoyan co-founded 2 start-ups, one in Germany and one in the US, serves on the advisory board of two current start-ups in stealth stage, held executive positions at PuddingMedia, Amdocs, and KPN-Qwest and can still be caught writing mobile apps when nobody else is looking. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Sciences from University of Karlsruhe, Germany and a BS in Mathematics. He completed post-graduate work at Stanford university.
